Community Dialogue brings divided groups in Northern Ireland and elsewhere together to dialogue about contentious political, social and economic problems.

As an organisation we take no party-political position on any issue.

At our events we ask people to address the following questions:

  • What is it that really matters to me in the social and political area?
  • Why do these things matter to me?
  • Given that others disagree with me, what can I live with?
  • Can those I disagree with see a place for themselves in my vision of the future?
There is only one expert who can answer these questions: the individual to whom they are addressed.

We believe that to make peace in Northern Ireland we have to talk. Not just any old talk but talk that involves:-

  • Questioning ourselves
  • Listening to others
  • Trying genuinely to see new angles on things.

We also offer training courses in Northern Ireland and elsewhere. For more on this click here.
