The Civic Initiative Citizen’s Forum on Housing concludes in St Columb’s Hall, Derry/Londonderry
Community Dialogue was delighted to be part of the facilitation team at the final event of the Civic Initiative Citizen’s Forum on Housing at St Columb’s Hall, Derry/Londonderry.
On Saturday the 23rd of November diverse Forum members from all over NI braved harsh travel conditions to gather and finalize their vision for housing along with 70 recommended supporting actions. The event concluded with a vote on the recommendations. This forum is a brilliant example of the power and potential of engaging citizens in deliberative decision-making on the complex and contentious issues that our government struggles to resolve. We need to see more!
