Holywell Trust is recruiting for its new Thirty Project. We’re holding an event on Good Friday/Belfast Agreement: Civic voice 25 years on for people from the greater Belfast area. This mini-citizens’ assembly project is designed to increase the civic voice. Recruitment of our Thirty participants for the project is now underway and we’d love to hear from you if you feel like you have something to contribute. Registration details are below and more information on the project can be found at https://www.holywelltrust.com/thirty. Recruitment – we are recruiting participants for our citizens’ assembly workshop. As we are likely to be oversubscribed we are asking people to apply online – a panel will select the final participants to ensure balanced representation. All participants must be over 18.
Who we are looking for – people with an interest in the topic Good Friday/Belfast Agreement: Civic voice 25 years on and in moving this place forward on some of our more challenging issues. Participants must be able to take part in the full programme (workshop and residential). Process – we will:
● Hold an induction workshop where participants will start to get to know one another, receive information on the upcoming residential and a preparation pack.
● Facilitate a residential for the thirty participants where they will hear expert input on the topic being discussed and have the chance to formulate solutions and recommendations on the themes. These will be agreed or voted on by all thirty participants.
● We will capture our process through video and podcast conversations which will be widely distributed upon conclusion of the project.
