This project was developed in partnership with a number of other organisations committed to trying to develop “Positive Peace”. The project acknowledges that peace is not simply about the absence of visible violence, but requires addressing underlying drivers and dynamics. The partnership felt that, within the loyalist community itself there are a number of underlying issues that affect the current state of play within the Northern Ireland peace process, which must be addressed if we are to move towards “positive peace”.
